For this project I was tasked with designing a political poster in the style of a past art movement. I chose the theme of Russian Constructivism to pair with my poster of women's wages because of it's idea that art should not be done for the sake of art, but should be directed towards social change.
To mimic the general style of this movement I picked up on some of the obvious traits. The image and the colors used are very typical of the movement, but the subtle choice of the Russian character-esque type face is what really captures the mood of the movement.
